Dr. Nager received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine as well as his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, MI.

He did his Interventional Cardiology Training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where he was involved in the early phases of human stent trials.
