Professional

Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He was a resident and chief resident in internal medicine at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York. He completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut and a one year Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the University of Connecticut, St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also board certified in ABIM-Cardiovascular Disease and ABIM-Interventional Cardiology. He is an interventional cardiologist and performs peripheral interventions. He also passed the examinations for the American Society of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
